“” Life is interesting for interesting people””
–Earl Nightingale
In my 15-year-plus career in the telecom field, I learned many new things.
I didn’t read or learn 80% of these things in my Engineering course or through any other formal education system.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said in his essay, “What we do not call education is more precious than that which we call so.”
I realized one more thing. Despite learning numerous new lessons, I had a tendency to forget many of them quickly.
I worked in 4 different companies. All have different works and processes.
I learned those new works and processes and was efficient during those times.
However, now that I’m trying to recall what I did and how I did it, I find it difficult to recall everything in detail.
So, one day, I decided to note down my work and what I do on a day-to-day basis. The whole process, learning and takeaways.
After a few days, I published those learnings as blog posts. And finally, this book is for You. This book contains a step-by-step process to complete many tasks related to Radio Network Planning. Topics chosen to explain here are the basic building blocks with slight variations for different technologies (2G, 3G, 4G or 5G, and so on)

“Show Your Work” by Austin Kleon is an amazing book that has impressed me a lot. He emphasizes sharing and showing what you do.
Therefore, I have carefully chosen a few significant and intriguing topics related to network radio planning and have methodically arranged them in this book.
You would love to read this book. It is totally a practical guidebook, including the work of telecom engineers like you. I have included a few theoretical concepts that are essential for practical application.
This book is for everyone. If you are an experienced person in the telecom segment, you will feel like you are writing about your experience here. For amateurs, it will be an easy, step-by-step guidebook.
It will be a great experience for non-telecom people to learn about the backstage activities of your mobile network, which is becoming an integral part of your life.
How open-minded are you about enjoying and experiencing this exciting reading?
